Music and guitar theory can seem intimidating, but my goal is to make it fun, clear, and approachable. As I was writing this book, many people asked me what my “angle” was. Honestly, I didn’t have a straightforward answer other than this: I believe the way I explain these concepts is clearer and more engaging than what you might find elsewhere.
This book assumes you already have some familiarity with the guitar and want to deepen your understanding, filling in any gaps you’ve picked up along the way.
Learning is a lifelong journey, not a destination. Think of each chapter as a stop along the way—you might linger in some places, explore deeply, or simply pass through. You may also find yourself returning to chapters to see them from a new angle. This is your journey, and I hope this book can guide you, provide fresh insights, and make sense of things you might already know, while also introducing you to new ideas.
